Don’t Risk This Happening to You…

Most of my work comes from recommendations from satisfied customers. However, I also get a lot of business from people who decided to use an amateur to build their website, suffered the consequences, and now want a professional job done — and fast!

Example 1 — The Disappearing Designer

One of my clients had their website built by a one-man company. The website suddenly disappeared. My client tried to contact the designer, who had vanished — he’d been on a long holiday and hadn’t paid the hosting company, so there was no website. He also hadn’t renewed the domain name, and someone else had bought it. My client had lost his money, his website, and his domain name. I found him a better domain and built him a new site. He now recommends me to friends and business connections.

Example 2 — The MD’s Nephew

I had given a small company a quotation for a new website. At the last minute they pulled out as the MD’s nephew had said he’d do it instead. I got a frantic call on a Saturday afternoon — they had received complaints from customers and lost potential new business because the website looked amateurish and didn’t work properly. The nephew didn’t understand what was needed and didn’t work professionally.

Example 3 — Stolen Images

A company was referred to me after receiving a solicitor’s letter stating they were using copyrighted photos on their website — the web designer had simply downloaded images from other sites without permission. The company was being pursued for a substantial sum for each of 50+ photos. Always make sure your designer uses properly licensed images — I do.

The Bottom Line

It’s not worth the risk. Don’t take a chance with something as fundamental to your business. Let’s talk about what you really need and I’ll show you how I can build a website that works — and that you own outright.

I’m not the cheapest and I’m not the most expensive. What I offer is a personal, professional service backed by skill and experience. As with most things in life, you get what you pay for.
